Integrated, circular process converting sweet plants to biofuels and bioproducts

Biorefinery consists of preservation of sugars by aditivate ensilage of freshly harvested sorghum biomass, extracting sugars from ensiled biomass, followed by fermentation sugars to ethanol or other biochemicals, hydrolysis without pretreatment of lignocellulose, obtaining second generation ethanol and anaerobic digestion of residues from the fermentation and hydrolysis and production of biogas and organic fertilizer.
