Bold ideas to fight climate change can come from anywhere-a university lab, a startup garage, or a conversation between friends. ClimateLaunchpad Czechia exists to help those ideas grow. As part of the world’s largest green business ideas competition, the programme supports early-stage innovators in turning climate solutions into scalable businesses with global impact.
ClimateLaunchpad Czechia welcomes entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and innovators from across the country who want to explore the potential of their ideas and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The programme in Czechia is delivered by Atlas Hub and GrantHub, an innovation and entrepreneurship platform supporting early-stage startups and impact-driven founders. The initiative is led by Aysun Demirdogen Sener and Eva Mejtová, who work to connect Czech innovators with international mentors, investors, and climate innovation networks.
Participants receive practical training, mentoring, and the opportunity to pitch their ideas on a national and international stage. From early concept to validated business model, ClimateLaunchpad provides the support needed to take the first steps toward building a climate startup.
Through ClimateLaunchpad, Czech innovators also gain access to the wider European climate innovation ecosystem, including networks connected to Climate-KIC, Europe’s leading climate innovation initiative.
About the Czech Programme
ClimateLaunchpad Czechia is delivered as an online programme with the flexibility of online support.
The structure includes:
🚀 3-day Online Boot Camp
An intensive training where participants work with experienced mentors to refine their value proposition, business model, and climate impact.
💻 Online Follow-Up Coaching & Pitch Practice
Follow-up mentoring and tailored virtual coaching sessions focused on strengthening the business model and improving pitching skills.
🏆 National Final
An online live pitching event where teams present in front of an expert jury and ecosystem stakeholders for the chance to represent Czechia at the Global Grand Final in Singapore.
This year, we’re especially excited to see one of our participants earn the opportunity to represent the Czechia in Singapore at the ClimateLaunchpad Global Grand Final this October.
