Bio-CM is our winner of the Regional Final Europe! They wowed the jury with their innovative solution to repurpose agricultural waste into insulation boards for conventional building systems. Their mission? To add value to invaluable waste through their unique fibre extraction process, significantly cutting carbon emissions while providing extra income for farmers. The jury was highly impressed, not only by the innovation but also by the potential impact on the construction industry. “Renovation projects are massive right now, and the materials currently used are very harmful. Bio-CM offers a great alternative, and it’s fantastic that they are helping farmers in the process,” said the jury. They also appreciated the clarity and honesty of the pitch. For Bio-CM, taking part in ClimateLaunchpad has been an incredible journey. “ClimateLaunchpad was key in shaping our idea into a feasible business model, thanks to their valuable expertise and guidance,” they shared.   And the winner of Africa & Asia Pacific is… Fuwa! A standing ovation for the champion of the Regional Final Africa & Asia Pacific! Their inspiring idea to use pineapple peels to produce biological enzyme cleaning solutions has wowed us all, earning them the well-deserved first place. The jury was highly impressed by their incredibly innovative approach and their already established, robust supply chain. Even before securing the win, team Fuwa expressed their gratitude for the ClimateLaunchpad journey: “With the support and guidance from ClimateLaunchpad experts, we have been able to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and enhance our strategies to create a positive environmental impact.
