Global Grand Final in Cyprus: we had a blast. Meet the 2017 winners.
Our Global Grand Final in sunny Cyprus in October was a blast.
Tickets were sold out, there were 105 finalists from 35 countries competing, we saw top speakers, had cocktails on the beach and enjoyed a bloody fantastic vibe.
Many, many thanks to Chrysalis Leap – our Cypriot partner – for their ultra smooth hosting of our Grand Final in Limassol.

What sticks to my mind most is the eagerness and determination of all finalists. Viable, scalable business ideas in a variety of markets are what we need – and exactly what we got in Cyprus.
The 2017 competition simply proves our motto: climate change will be fixed, one start-up at a time.
The jury had the infeasible task to select this years’ winners:
1st Prize: Bio Alkanol Gel from Kenya
2nd Prize: MeduSoilfrom Switzerland
3rd Prize: Vienna Textile Lab from Austria, who also won the Audience Award
