Climate-KIC’s CleanLaunchpad Grand EU final

Join us at Palacio de Congresos (Palace of Light) de Valencia (Spain) on Wednesday 29th of October to see the pitches of the 30 best ideas of Climate-KIC’s CleanLaunchpad, Europe’s largest cleantech business idea competition.

Out of a couple of hundreds applications and after an intensive six months tour of boot camps, coaching sessions and national finals through eleven European countries, thirty of Europe’s best cleantech ideas to tackle climate change are ready to be taken to the stage. In the morning of 29th of October, the start-ups present their 5-minute pitches in 5 parallel sessions to distinguished jury panels. Seven start-ups will reach the CleanLaunchpad Grand EU final that very same afternoon.

This is their chance to become the winner of CleanLaunchpad 2014. He/she receives € 10,000, runner up gets € 5,000 and third place wins € 2,500. The best prize is that all three winners get accepted into Climate-KIC Accelerator, the world’s first real-life business school for promising cleantech entrepreneurs. That is where they will fast-track their business.

These cleantech ideas are carefully selected and coached in the past period. The quality of the work of the start-ups has been great. I’m really looking forward seeing the results of all the hard work in the Valencia finals.
