Who are the ClimateLaunchpad National Finalists?

We wanted to know what the ClimateLaunchpad National Finalists were working on, so we created a visualization. We expect many teams to tackle power generation and the optimization of resources. This year is no exception. More than 20 of the teams are doing just that. This year we have quite a few teams looking at different ways to use insects for protein and sustainable food production. Some of our teams have developed ways to make things out of unexpected materials (mushroom leather, anyone?). What they all have in common is their dedication to low carbon businesses that tackle climate change. You can play with the interactive charts yourselves.

The National Finalists

Use your mouse to rollover the data areas to see more detail about each section. You can see the name of the team, the topic they are addressing, and where they are from. You can also use the dropdown lists on the right to filter your view of the data.

This chart is subject to change as more details are added. Come back often and find out what’s new.
