Our Team for Australia
Good to know:
The program will be offered in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
All teams will compete in State Finals and the top-3 of each state enter the Australian National Finals, which will be held in Melbourne. Teams will pitch to industry renowned judges and the top three teams will represent Australia in the international Grand Finals in Europe.
Climate-KIC Australia will provide travel scholarships for those selected to attend the National Finals in Melbourne and Global Finals in Europe.
Meet Sina, National Lead of ClimateLaunchpad Australia!
What is your background?
Sina is the National Innovation Programs and Outreach Manager at Climate-KIC Australia and coordinates the ClimateLaunchpad and Climathon programs across Australia. With an entrepreneurial mind-set and start-up experience, and a strong background in NGO management, international project development and communications, Sina is well equipped to point the next climate change innovators in the right direction.
Why did you become a Natioanl Lead?
Climate-KIC Australia offers a new way to link businesses, entrepreneurs, research, investors, and government to address the challenges and harness the opportunities of climate change. We are the sister organisation to EIT Climate-KIC.
How does your organisation support clean tech start-ups?
We offer a suite of innovation and education programs built on the experience of Climate-KIC in Europe that are customised to the Australian market.
