youthinkgreen Egypt is excited to be organizing Climatelaunchpad competition for the sixth time in Egypt in a row!

Youthinkgreen Egypt has been active since 2013 focusing on fostering Sustainability & Entrepreneurship among the youth sector via our educational programs and events, pushing hundreds of entrepreneurs on the innovation road to create clean solutions to challenges in renewable energy, energy management, water sustainability, waste management, and Water Energy Food Nexus.

The competition phases start with submitting ideas through the online application form, the selected applicants will join our Bootcamp and follow-up coaching sessions, and following this, applicants will pitch in front of a National Jury in the National Finals. The top three applicants will be qualified for the Regional finals and International finals.

In 2023, Merge, our first winner, whose startup focuses on developing a digital freight matching platform to address the environmental impact of the trucking industry. By optimizing trailer space, minimizing handling, and reducing empty miles, Merge aims to reduce carbon emissions and transportation costs. With route optimization algorithms, real-time tracking, and instant pricing, Merge provides businesses with a sustainable and efficient solution for their freight transportation needs, contributing to the global effort to tackle climate change.

Our second winner is HNE Futures, a cleantech startup in the E-mobility space with a target of being a global player in the Electric Vehicle (EV) Transition in the Middle East and Africa. Utilising Data Synergies in the Energy, Transport & Infrastructure sectors through our EV Marketplace, Hardware and Software Charging Solutions.

Finally, Menna Remah Upcycled Garments, ClimateLaunchpad 2023 third winner, inspired by the painful impact of the fashion industry and the fabric leftovers, Menna established a women & kids clothing line where they target the following: Crafting long-lasting eco-friendly quality garments.

Textile waste management through upcycling fabric leftovers and worn-out garments into new, chic, and 100% usable garments again.

Monetizing deadstock clothing items.
