YTG has been active since 2013 focusing on fostering Sustainability & Entrepreneurship among the youth sector via our educational programs and events, pushing hundreds of entrepreneurs on the innovation road to create clean solutions to challenges in renewable energy, energy management, water sustainability, waste management, and Water Energy Food Nexus.
The competition phases start with you submitting your ideas through the online application form, the selected applicants will join our Bootcamp and follow-up coaching sessions, and following this, applicants will pitch in front of a National Jury in the National Finals.The top three applicants will be qualified for the Regional finals and earn a chnace to compete at raching the Global finals.
The 2025 National Final was a landmark event for Egypt’s green start-up ecosystem. We were honored to have the event hosted by the Embassies of the Netherlands and Ireland in Egypt, underscoring the international significance of our startups’ solutions.

In 2025, our first winner was Nubrick A pioneer in circular economy and waste management, Nubrick converts construction and demolition waste into high-quality, sustainable building materials, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the construction industry.
Our second winner was Oracle Water Flow Meter (OWM) Focusing on water sustainability, OWM utilizes IoT-integrated smart meters to provide real-time monitoring and analytics for water flow, helping industries and municipalities identify leaks and drastically reduce water waste.
Finally, our third winner Banana Med Addressing agricultural waste, Banana Med transforms banana tree residues into eco-friendly medical sutures. Their innovative process provides a sustainable alternative to traditional materials while supporting rural farmers and addresing an issue of the supply in the Egyptian market.
