What is your background?
I am the CEO at Descartes Development and Innovation, a Greentech cluster, Fablab and Incubator located Cité Descartes, East of Paris. I have 20+ years experience in providing services to startups, SMEs, investors, designing offers etc.
Why did you become a country lead?
We think that ClimateLaunchpad is a great way to help innovative project leaders to move from the idea stage to creating an impactful business. For us, CLP is a pre-incubation service.
How does your organisation support clean tech start-ups?
Incubateur Descartes is a territorial non-profit association whose mission is to support innovative start-up projects, with a high technological added value. We target entrepreneurs with various backgrounds : young graduates, researchers, professors or economic players.
