Adsol is startup dedicated to the research and development of an offshore solar-powered desalination device specialized for the production of green hydrogen offshore. Our internationally patented design considerably reduces the ammount of energy required for it’s functioning, due to it being mainly solar-powered, which results in higher ammounts of energy available for hydrogen production, and therefore a higher profitability of the platform. Also, due to it’s design, our device can adapt to changes in the intensity of the currents below the platform, which allows for the adaptation of brine concentration in the spill water in order to evade an increased environmental impact. Finally, due to it being a distillation process, opposed to filtration, the resulting water has almost no impurities within it, resulting in a more efficient and less maintenance demanding electrolysis.
