Enabling bike commuting for regional towns has been the mission of the ‘BikeBus for Work’ service. In most European cities bike commuting is possible only to the extent of the bike lane infrastructure network which occurs within the central zone of a city. For inhabitants of suburban towns, bike commuting is not an option due to the lack of infrastructure. ‘Bike bus for work’ is a transportation service designed only for bike owners and guarantees bike spaces, comfortable traveling by bike security, and direct lines with no stops in between.
