Bindio is the worlds smartest bicycle security system. It is a bicycle parking stand with built in hardened steel chain and electronic lock. Security is ensured by built in sensors that detect cutting or sawing of the chain/lock as well as optional video surveillance. The core of Bindio is a lock which can be locked and unlocked by mobile phone application or SMS. Bindio is currently tailored to individual bike locks but the system could be broadened into other security applications such as door locks, bicycle safe locks or bicycle shelter locks. We have developed first prototypes and already testing with real users and gaining market feedback.
