Transforming agricultural crop waste into protein ingredient for animal feed


Aquaculture production in Europe has increased 60% since 1998, but these farmed animals need to eat lots of protein. This traditionally comes from wild fish (fishmeal), but 90% of fish stocks are fully or over exploited. To meet demand, many thousands of hectares of soybeans have been planted globally, resulting in widespread deforestation in Brazil. Through our innovative, proprietary process, we upcycle non-edible crop waste into a high-protein feed ingredient. We are valorizing a waste product to make agricultural land more efficient, and stop the expansion of other destructive protein ingredients.
