Proposal to reduce the warming effect of CO2 in the atmosphere by increasing the Earth’s albedo by enhancing low-level marine clouds. This is achieved through a seawater spray installed on existing cargo ships going about their normal voyages.
BrightClouds will act as an intermediary between the future carbon levy regulator for shipping and shipowners to inform, facilitate, verify, and process the data and payments. Shipowners would gain an additional stream of revenue for installing and operating the spray systems.
