Pitch
Despite a global deal on climate change and a raft of new national climate change legislation, there remains a lack of consistent, objective analysis of the future regulatory risks and opportunities. Investors are often unaware of their portfolios’ emissions intensity and exposure to policy changes. Similarly, even large companies lack the willingness or ability to track complex regulatory processes, often relying on expensive external consultants to provide case-by-case opinion-based analysis. We believe that by combining scope 1,2 and 3 emissions data, with the geographically specific, systemic analysis and quantification of large amounts of publicly available data on existing and future legislation, along with data on investors’ ownership of companies, we can give investors and companies alike a unique indicator of the future risk they face.
