Pitch
Vietnam is a country with a long history and culture in coffee drinking and production. Every year, Vietnamese people consume about 240,000 tons of coffee, which equals to 560 tons daily. The coffee grounds, after use, is mostly thrown away and end up in the landfill. This is not only wasting a valuable resource but also create environmental impact by emitting carbon dioxide and polluting the soil below. In cofFREE project, we collect and turning these used coffee grounds into valuable products, ultimately promoting the circular economy concept and movement toward a sustainable city.
