Leather industry is one of the most polluting industries. Tannery affluent produces high amount organic and inorganic solids and animal skin trims and animal hairs waste are rich in proteins that negatively impact the environment. Our bioproduced exotic limits the need of toxic products needed to transform the raw skin in leather, minimize the water waste and is 100% cruelty free.
A recent report revealed that sustainability influences purchase behavior of ~60% of true-luxury consumers (+12pp vs 2013), driven by environmental, animal and ethical manufacturing concerns. Our product fully adress these points.
