E-GECOP are cement-free, alkali-activated fly ash-based geopolymer concrete prefabricated paving elements for pedestrian use (pedestrian paths, pedestrian zones), bicycle lanes, parking lots, roads, motorways, industrial spaces (including docks and ports), aircraft runways, public transport stations, gas stations, used in the civil engineering industry.
E-GECOP development is fundamentally motivated by the need, identified both at global and national levels, to implement the principles of sustainable development, sustainable consumption of natural resources, recovery of existing waste, and prevention of generating new ones – total recovery of the fly ash and using it as a raw material for the development of new construction materials, offering sustainable solutions both to the construction industry and to the energy production industry.
