Ecobuild Plastic Waste Tiles

We produce tiles from plastic waste for roof, floor and wall.

Pitch

According to the Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON), Nigeria generates over 65 million tonnes of waste annually with only 20% – 30% being collected leaving huge waste management and recycling gap. Lagos, Nigeria faces a sobering waste crisis that will only worsen as the city’s population of 18 million people continues to soar. The overburdened municipal government collects only 40% of city garbage and a mere 13% of recyclable materials are salvaged from landfills according to LAWNMA. Over 70% of solid waste is nylon and plastic materials. What we are is doing is to collect the nylon and plastic waste from organizations, stores and individuals. We also salvage some from landfills and event centres. We then crush mix with relative amount of sand to make varieties of floor tiles in different types of floors. We are starting with making interlocking floor tiles. We are also going to be making bricks for walls and indoor floor tiles.
Our floor tiles are very strong and stronge
