«If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.» What if we could measure all the PV panels worldwide? It seems ambitious, but it’s not a question of ‘if’ but more of ‘when’ and ‘how’.
At ecoPlanos we’re working to be part of this network of IoT devices that gather and spread PV panel performance. We want to do it differently though, by making the solution transparent from the ground up, inspired by the the recent evolutions in cryptographic technologies and the broader open source movement.
We are currently working on a photovoltaic monitoring solution that brings this tools and information close to the people who need it the most, the individual photovoltaic users. Be it the present users, or the soon-to-be PV users of the near future.
