| The idea is to recycle plastic bottles to produce composite building panels which can be used to build cheap and eco-friendly light constructions. The know-how is the structure of the panel which includes bottles with the air inside producing a panel that is five times lighter than concrete but just as strong, and has better insulating qualities. The project addresses two crucial problems – pollution and poverty. Composite panels with plastic bottles inside can be used to quickly assemble permanent or temporary homes or business facilities. |
