Presently, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are being powered by Lithium Ion Battery which offers only 20 – 30 minutes of flight time. Moreover, the recharging time of these batteries are in the range of 2 – 3 hours. This brings in the necessity to buy additional batteries to prevent the down time of UAVs. Since the widespread adoptability of drones are being restricted by the batteries, the UAV industry is looking for alternate power source. Fuel cells have proven to offer longer flight time with a quick refuelling time. Elicius’ tubular fuel cells are cheaper, more efficient in water management, and possess higher volumetric and gravimetric power density. Hence, our fuel cells offer increased flight time of more than four hours with a refueling time of only 5 minutes.
