We developed the first geo-thermal panel that efficiently captures heat in existing indoor environments located in the underground and transfers it for renewable heating and cooling to buildings. With our solution we offer an alternative source of heating and cooling to existing buildings and facilitate access to renewable thermal energy for their energy transition. The modular geo-thermal panels are typically installed in underground parking where they can be easily attached to the built surfaces by means of a tile-like system, benefitting from an architectural integration without compromising the maintenance and resilience of the panels. Our geo-thermal panel solution reduces by 30% the cost of heating and cooling and reduces the energy-related CO2 emissions by approximately 90% compared to current fossil-based energy solutions.
