Energy Efficiency (Pty) Ltd

Energy Efficiency uses clean lighting technology to save energy and save lives.

Pitch

In South Africa alone there are over 3 million public lights installed with toxic lamps with harmful chemical inside such as Mercury Vapor (which is banned in Europe) and many others, these toxic lamps when their lifespan ends are not disposed in an environmentally friendly manner, their content enters our plantlife, water resources and harms our environment and health, we aim to replace them with our clean EnvironVine 100% solar powered retrofitable light which is made from recyclable materials such as plastic waste and sugarcane bagasse (which is often burned into the atmosphere adding to C02 emissions), the light is easy to plant/install and provides clean energy and safety where due to lack of light less deaths are prevented as over 20k murders alone were recorded in SA last year. We desire to transform the lighting industry by supplying these lights to manufacturers and Government at a lower cost and to export across Africa. Therefore, we clean the envirnoment and the streets.
