GeoRisk is a web service application which provides flood risk predictive models to identify potential future flooded areas. The implemented algorithm is disruptive and supplies essential and unprecedented geospatial information with the aim of supporting insurance, reinsurance and catastrophe modeling companies in saving costs and introducing efficiencies in their business processes. These innovative risk models are developed relying on deep learning cloud architectures applied to Copernicus Earth Observation datasets acquired by the Sentinel missions. GeoRisk is marketed through a monthly subscription with a limited number of area risk assessment analysis allowed for each license and at different levels of spatial/temporal resolution. This project has been awarded in the Copernicus Masters 2017 and presented at the European Space Week 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia. Currently, it is supported by the Copernicus Accelerator managed by the European Commission.
