Kinetix Energy Storage

Using flywheels to build a cleaner grid

Pitch

Kinetix’s mission is to expedite clean energy deployments using an innovative, low-cost flywheel energy storage system. This system lowers storage costs by 75% compared to current battery systems. Our approach involves purchasing inexpensive clean energy, storing it, and selling it back to the grid during peak rates, effectively replacing fossil fuel power plants and cutting 19,000 tons of carbon emissions per unit. When paired with renewable sources, we provide continuous, reliable clean energy at 30%-50% lower costs than fossil fuels, driving affordable clean energy adoption and supporting electrification and clean transportation. Our solutions are particularly beneficial for remote and underserved regions, offering reliable and affordable energy for homes, industries, communities, and electric transportation. We are committed to improving our product and scaling deployments through licensing agreements to further accelerate the transition to a sustainable, carbon-free energy future.
