Multi Use Medical Devices (MUMD)

Reducing hospital waste with reusable medical devices.

Pitch

The global healthcare sector generates over 5.9 million tons of medical waste each year, much of it from disposable single-use devices. Hospitals face increasing pressure to reduce operational costs and meet sustainability targets, while incineration and landfill disposal of medical waste contribute significantly to CO2 emissions and environmental damage.

MUMD offers a reusable balloon inflation device that can be reused up to 20 times. By implementing a circular system, hospitals can reduce waste by 50%, lowering disposal costs and cutting CO2 emissions by up to 2.3 million tons globally by 2033. Our solution promotes environmental sustainability and operational efficiency for healthcare providers.
