Pack’n GREEN

Biodegradable and compostable paper pulp packaging for the food industry


We live in a very interesting transformation period where traditional linear economy is still cost-effective but becomes boring and immature. At the same time circular economy becomes trendy, interesting for the end consumers but industry still needs to be encouraged to implement innovative solutions. This is what project “Pack’n GREEN” goes for.
In strong cooperation with Centre of Package Innovations and Research of Kaunas University of Technology, innovative bio-based compostable paper pulp packaging is an efficient and sustainable way to managed food and packaging waste. Food and packaging is a has a high value and rich in nutrients materials which has to be “saved” from landfills and must be directed back to the soil via compost. Some treasures can be saved!
