As a coffee-lover country, Finland consumes 55.000 tonnes of coffee annually but releases about 34.645 tons of GHG emissions from spent coffee grounds.
Preloved Coffee was founded to transform these spent coffee grounds into value, giving a new life to a material previously considered waste, contributing to a circular economy, and mitigating climate change. We aim to create impactful and sustainable change for the world by continuously innovating valuable products from the spent coffee grounds. Our first product, coffee oil, offers a lot of skin and haircare benefits, such as combat skin aging, UV protection, wound healing, cellulite reduction, eye area care, skin firming, and hair growth stimulation. Our customers are cosmetics companies that care about climate impact and want to contribute to the circular economy.
