With World Bank estimating 1600 daily deaths caused due to waterborne bacterial diseases, 73 million working days lost and over 600 million dollars worth of medical expenditure spent yearly in India. Project Uthaana seeks to solve a crucial problem of lack of clean drinking water. Using an innovative approach, Project Uthaana aims to remedy this issue by providing eco-friendly and affordable water filters made from clay and used coffee grounds.
