The idea behind the RECUP.GREEN is to change the approach to paper cup usage and reduce their negative environmental impact. Annual paper cup consumption exceeds 500 billion, and most of them end up in landfills or are incinerated due to their polymer coating, which complicates recycling. We see the solution in creating a circular economy and implementing smart sorting systems.
Our innovative approach is the Smart Bin, an intelligent waste collection container equipped with artificial intelligence and a mobile app. It helps sort paper cups for further recycling and motivates people to participate by rewarding them with cashback for proper sorting.
Smart Bin also provides operators with detailed analytics and helps reduce disposal costs. Our goal is to create an efficient system that will help save thousands of trees and make a significant contribution to reducing harmful environmental impacts.
