We incentivize people to donate their old technology (computers and consoles), by giving back a bit of the value recovered of old computers to the donor and to a charity of choice. We split the profit from our sales 3-ways: 1/3 for charity, 1/3 for the donor, and 1/3 for us.
Recycle Geeks helps reducing the need for production of new computers, and increases the supply of affordable computers, and second-hand computer repair parts.
Combined, these are key to decrease the amount of e-wasted produced, and helps the world to have longer lasting tech.
Our key factor is the donation element – unlike existing refurbishers, we have guaranteed profit margins, and as such we’ll work with a higher range of equipments that would, otherwise, not provide enough profit margin in a buy-sell approach.
