Renkube has developed a pioneering optical tracking technology that is the first in the world for traditional Solar PV panel. The innovative patent pending prismatic solar glass increases the efficiency of photovoltaic solar panels by 20%. Renkube panels gives the same benefits as a solar tracker but without any maintenance overhead and has 50% reduced capital cost. Overall, there is a reduction in the cost of energy generation (LCOE) by about 12%. A solar panel using this technology reduces CO2 emissions by 5.4 Mega Tonnes in a year compared to current coal-based energy generation.
The attractive feature of this technology is that the solar glass can co-exist with any type of underlying solar cell technology like mono, poly-crystalline solar cells, bifacial solar panels etc. Ours is a solution that can be deployed on commercial rooftops, residential rooftop or solar farms.
