ReShore is replacing lifeless, grey breakwaters with floating, living ecosystems through our product the Living Breakwater. Grey breakwaters are good at providing coastal protection, but they destroy the natural environment in which they are placed. Our Living Breakwater also protects coastlines, but instead of destroying the natural environment, we help rebuild it. We do this by combining a floating breakwater design with regenerative aquaculture; using seaweed, mussels and artificial reefs to restore coastal ecosystems that have been destroyed by human activity.
