Panemon: Road Power Generator For Urban Areas

To capture energy by the moving vehicles on roadway.

Pitch

So how do you bring wind power to the city? The solution is to implement a system that would generate power from rather unique places, such us roadways. By setting up wind turbines on middle of road, some portions of the wasted energy can be re-captured and altered into mechanical work to generate electrical power.
The aim of our concept is to capture energy in wind draft generated by the moving vehicles on roadway. When vehicles move at roadways, lots of energy is used to push away air on their motion. By setting up wind turbines on middle road some portions of the wasted energy can be re-captured and altered into mechanical work to generate electrical power.
Power generation from the wind is one of the cleanest and most sustainable ways to generate electricity as it produces no toxic pollution or global warming emissions.
