Sabon Sake

Fostering a regenerative economy with resilient soil

Pitch

Sabon Sake is on a relentless quest to provide regenerative solutions that tackle the devastating problem of nearly 65 percent of degraded soils and declining agricultural productivity in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa.

We achieve this by providing environmentally-friendly, restorative and cleansing carbon-based soil amendments that cater to restoring biodiversity, improving and sustaining soil health, resilience and fertility; thereby improving food security and quality of agricultural products. Consequently, this promotes a more sustainable supply of organic produce, which leads to a boost in exports hence lessening farmers’ difficulties in meeting the stringent food quality standards in export markets whilst creating a more reliable domestic consumption.

Founded on research and experimentation, we adopt an innovative use of negative emissions technology (NET) to convert agricultural waste into locally produced premium soil amendments that sequester carbon, consequently reducing CO2 emissions.
