Current metal LPG cylinder in Malaysia is 70 years old technology. It is heavy, high maintenance and has safety issue in the case of fire. The composite LPG cylinders made using fiber glass and has a lot of advantages such as 60 % lighter, maintenance free,and translucent. This LPG composite cylinder is the local technology which can prevent the gas leakage and improve the connection between cylinder and the nozzle for safety feature. Because of its light weight feature, the logistic cost will be reduced. In addition, less fuel will be needed to transport it thus reduces the carbon released to the environment. No maintenance needed means no chemical will be needed to refurbished the cylinders.This can reduce the cost and help in reduction of chemical pollution in local area
