The process of recycling is Completely dependent on sorting of material but because of very poor waste management strategies in Africa sorting is really difficult. Currently its 100% human labor based. We Scinfinity are developing a robotic system that uses artificial intelligence to sort the materials for recycling. Our system is more efficient because it reduces the problem of contamination by a huge percent, its fast as it can pick 80items/minute with high accuracy, thus it can increase revenue to material recovery facilities (MRFs) and local recycling companies by an estimate of 60% per month due to increased throughput.
