Electricity is fundamental for people because it makes it possible to have heating, lighting, cooling, but unfortunately worldwide more than one billion live without electricity, today we know that refrigeration is a lifesaver for those who are lucky enough to have it, keeps children healthy, vaccines in good condition, fresh food, etc.
But there is a cruel irony behind this since refrigeration systems spend more than 50% of energy, the environmental impact generated by these conventional refrigeration systems is a major source of the destruction of the ozone layer, as many of these systems use harmful refrigerants and even today refrigerants that do not affect the ozone layer are used if they influence global warming, as well as the materials in which they are manufactured, there are very few companies that decide to recycle these wastes, thus generating more increase in electronic waste in garbage dumps.
