Our mission is to stop and reverse the noise pollution process caused by the industrial progress and bring back the silence to peoples’ everyday life. Constant exposure to noise causes variety of health problems ranging from sleep disturbance to tinnitus and cardiovascular diseases and has a significant impact on natural ecosystems, often forcing animals to migrate from their natural environment to less polluted areas. At Silencions we aim to improve the quality of people’s life and to restore the balance in local ecosystems by permanent reduction of noise emission of industrial sites, vehicles and household goods. Silencions delivers significant noise and vibration reduction of the material structures via their engineered and periodic architectures. Through our design and manufacturing processes we shape the vibro-acoustic properties of the material to meet the most demanding vibration and noise radiation limits. Our solution is lightweight and does not require any additional power.
