Simpl.energy has the ambition to become a leading and independent player that offers a SaaS solution with its software platform to a broader group of business customers. Simpl.Energy’s independent platform generates forecasts and controls for the generation, storage, and transport of electricity at companies and campuses. The platform is called a Predictive Energy Management System (VEMS). Using the predictions, the VEMS determines the optimal control for PV systems, EV charging plazas, stationary batteries, and possibly other flexible assets. In addition, the forecasts provide insight into expected problems with the grid connection and offer an opportunity to actively manage this by means of capacity-limiting contracts.
