In Tanzania, 750 tonnes of eggshells waste end up in landfills every year. Trash2Treasure intends to offer sustainable alternative to recycle poultry waste (eggshells) into eco-friendly products that will be used as raw materials in production the following:-
1) Absorbent materials for heavy metals found in waste water.
2) Bioplastic alternative for packaging.
3) Calcium supplement for nutrition to people, animals and plants.
