Making local food available to everyone


VeggieRadar offers a platform that enables to find and purchase locally grown and traditionally produced foods nearest to you.

With local food being grown or made almost on every corner VeggieRadar adds even the smallest gems of the local food market and food culture on the map and makes them accessible in the local community.

Consuming food locally reduces the transportation-related carbon footprint that could make in some cases up to half of the whole carbon footprint in the food industry. Furthermore about 20% of food gets wasted during production, transportation and storage. VeggieRadar will tackle these two global problems head on. The platform will boost local economies and strengthen the local community as it offers supplemental income for small- and micro-scale producers.
