Recycling Grey water using constructed wetland technology


At a fee of 200 euros over a period of sixteen months, you can save 50% worth of your average water bill by using the Re-Tumia Grey Waste water Recycler . Built upon circular economy principles, this system utilizes pumice rock and waste plastic bottle caps for filtration of the grey water that is later on used to supplement the water requirements of portable activites like flushing toilets and minimalist subsistence farming within a homestead. This particular approach is independent of the climatic conditions that affect most water resources during the drought seasons yet offering a reduction in carbon footprint in comparison to the conventional waste water treatments that a very capital intensive.
