Theme Awards 2019

…with €25,000 extra prize money

The registration for this years’ Theme Awards is now closed.

Check your emails on Nov 8 to find out who has been hand-picked to pitch on the morning of November 15.

During the Global Grand Final there will be 6 extra prizes in specific themes.

We have room for 6 start-ups per theme, 36 in total. You are invited to compete for these theme awards. Expert juries select one team per theme to win a € 5,000 grant or similar prize in value. So in total a whopping total of €25,000 in additional prize money and other awards are up for grabs.

How does it work?

Pitching for a Theme Award is not mandatory, but it is a perfect opportunity to gain fame, attract media exposure and win some cash to invest in your start-up.  You can apply for up to 2 themes that are most relevant to your start-up, but you will only be chosen to pitch for 1 theme. An expert jury will make the pre-selection of 6 pitching teams per theme.

The selection will be made based on only your Participant Page – so make sure you have it filled out before applying.

During the competition, you will use the same slide deck as the Semi Finals, but you are highly encouraged to cater the (verbal) pitch to the chosen theme.

Registration deadline: 12PM CEST 31 October 2019

Register now for the ClimateLaunchpad Theme Award competitions in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 15 November 2019. All we need is the name of your start-up, country of participation, the theme you want to apply for, and a valid email address where we can contact you to inform you if you will compete for the award.
