National Finals: From Bugs to Batteries

All over Europe, 87 teams are practising their pitches and preparing for the ClimateLaunchpad Grand Final. We can’t wait to see what they have in-store for us. We already know there will be cookies made of insects and leather made of gelatin. There will be water saving and water purification. There will even be wheels and windmills.

What’s in store for you at the ClimateLaunchpad Grand Final?

We’ve got bugs and batteries, waterless toilets and eco-friendly wipes. We’ve got fabric made from mushrooms and tiles that turn steps into electricity. Eighty-seven teams are competing in this year’s ClimateLaunchpad Grand Final in Tallinn. They’ll be in Tallinn on October 7th and 8th. It’s not too late to register, just click here and fill out the form.

Find out more about the teams that are coming to Tallinn in the post: Who are the ClimateLaunchpad National Finalists?.

Don’t forget to pack a sweater

We asked Startup Estonia intern Jörgen Martin to tell us what else to do in Estonia while we are there for the finals. Hint: don’t forget to bring a fluffy cardigan. Read his post here: Put on a Cardigan and visit Estonia in the Autumn.
