wrocLOVE CleanLaunchpad (Poland)

Polish hospitality, charming place and a group of international trainers – that’s the best recipe for ideas to grow. All in one place: the magnificent Castle Topacz.

CleanLaunchpad boot camp took place in Castle Topacz on the 1st and 2nd September. DARR S.A. (The Lower Silesian Regional Development Agency) hosted 12 teams in a quiet place out of a busy town. After two days of hard work, co-operation, peer-2-peer sessions and coaching, we now feel that our ideas are ready to conquer the world.

The guest of the start-up talk, Mr. Stanisław Rogoziński, motivated the participants with his rich knowledge. He strengthened the participants’ feelings that running a business is very exiting.

Some of the promising ideas featured at the boot camp Poland includes: improving the energy efficiency of vehicles, a mini greenhouse, and paper pallets for logistics or eco gardens.

After attending the CleanLaunchpad boot camp, these participants will pitch their business ideas for the national jury in Poland at 8th of October. CleanLaunchpad’s Grand European Final is organized at 29th of October in Valencia, Spain. Per country, three cleantech pitches will be judged based on the impact on climate change, potential of new jobs, economic growth and the motivation of the contestants.

Please keep your fingers crossed for our Polish inventors at CleanLaunchpad’s Grand EU Final in Valencia.

To be continued…
