Our Team for Colombia

In 2019, Cleantech HUB launched the first ClimateLaunchpad competition in Colombia. Building on the success of the program, we’ve continued to expand the sustainable innovation ecosystem in the country.

In 2019-20, we received over 300 early-stage green business ideas, of which we supported more than 40 startups to transform their green business idea into a clear business pitch.

In 2021, we were excited to start the third ClimateLaunchpad and welcome the Climathon winners from Cali, Barranquilla and Bogota. We had 3 teams competing in the regional finals which made us very proud.

For 2022 we come with all the energy to accompany the participants from Colombia and Mexico in this process and thus FIX CLIMATE CHANGE ONE START-UP AT A TIME!

What is your background?

I have been an international serial social entrepreneur for over 20 years, specialized in CSR and sustainability.  My goal is to empower social / green entrepreneurship beyond borders.

And why did you become the country lead for Colombia?

First of all we believe the time is right in Colombia to catalyze green entrepreneurship. Since we are already present in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, we want to drive innovation and shape a sustainable future together.

So why do you think this competition is so important?

We believe above all that there are a lots of great ideas out there. And with the right support we can boost green entrepreneurship and fix climate change, one start up at a time. ClimateLaunchpad will help unite the ecosystem of partners investing their time, knowledge, networks or money. We want to be the change we need to see in this world.
