Beau Pads are Africas first flushable biodegradable pad made from alien plant water hyacinth and banana stem fibre. we designed the plants based pad for the African infrastructure and the woman in mind. the pad can be flushed and used in biogas plants. we want the pads to be sold by anyone directly benefitting the people. we anticipate making the pad in a few different African countries where biomass is most readily available for a biomass refinery. Our beach head market are the South African Tertiary institutions with 6.4million women currently from all backgrounds and other countries. this controlled environment means the customer can be educated on pad poverty, can influence through social media, gives feedback and will be able to buy the pads from a vending machine installed the toilets which is ideal space for marketing the pads and selling without competing for shelf space with other competitors. this means our pad will be seen daily and 1st to point of sale.
